Making Tea

How to make tea:

a. To make the best tea, you must first fill the bowl with some water.

b. Boil it!

c. Turn off the stove and put some tea leaves off course.

d. Cover it say, for five minutes.

e. Uncover and voila you have a nice hot tea. Brings smile, isn't it?

Is it that difficult? No it is not!

Why? We see it happening everyday and we are not afraid of fire, tea bags, water or sugar.

How to make Rape:

a. Start from early childhood by passing lewd comments, groping, insulting or getting a hard on by anything that remotely resembles a female form, be it a voluptuous goat or an effing 10tn gorilla.

As a fallout to having little or no knowledge (respect is far too much to ask) of the opposite sex, the ignorant prejudiced mind of yours starts treating them something of a sexual-object, that which needs to be dominated, covered, preserved (virginity) and requires occasional “teaching-up” lesson to attain the goal of a purer than the purest pious society (sic).

What do we call this attitude again? Misogyny I suppose.

b. Indulged in those thoughts and actions you seek glory in the presence of your equally retarded peers for a considerable amount of time, unaware of the inevitable.

The endemic glorification of patriarchal society by popular saas-bahu (mother in law and daughter in law) soap in mainstream media or the portrayal of rape-is-a-cute-sweet-boy-thing in Bollywood only solidifies your wrong notion regarding women in general.

Your basic needs are strong too and all this while you have been led to believe in your false entitlement towards it, no matter what the other feel. What more to expect than a deeply charged collective sexual energy built up, high on testosterone only and low on intelligence/respect/humanity. This by the way clearly proves the notion of you being a sick and sad mental nut-case.

c. With this built up energy for all the wrong reasons, you are with your pals (or alone, doesn't matter). Slightly tipsy on the hooch/Royal Stag/Jack Daniels, you stumble upon this creature with breasts and a genital that is different than you.

d. Voila, you have raped or at least sexually harassed the poor creature who unfortunately happens to be at the wrong place, wrong time.

Is it difficult? No, technically it is not. As you can see, it is just a four step process compared to five for making a good tea!

Why? We see it happening everyday and we are not afraid of the consequences. We can walk scot-free with impunity. Compliance to law and lathi-charge (baton) is for regular citizens and not meant for horrendous rapist/misogynist scum. Well, unlike peaceful protesters, the latter pays in hard currency, can't blame them!

As much as you would love making a nice fuming cup of tea in the morning, would you rather prefer raping/violating instead? Any sane mind would say no I believe.

If you happen to be a tea enthusiast like me, you would probably like to pass on your acquired wisdom to your child while making them aware of the dangers of fire too. You care for their safety, don’t you?

On the contrary, why can't you teach the same for "Rape" or women/girl in general? Why can't you teach your child the importance of women? Why can't you let your boy/girl intermingle with the opposite sex without any bias or judgment?

Surprising isn't it?  In this wonderful society of ours, you have to Teach your child to respect women or Allow them to interact freely, where as the womb which gave birth to you is of a women. That breast you look for sexual gratification and hell bent on covering each and every ounce of it actually fed and nurtured you. Just so that you can repay it all back by violating and/or possessing thoughts of contaminating it!

We live in a strange world, where making tea is far more difficult task compared to rape, solely by virtue of the steps involved. We and our hopeless, downtrodden and narcissist intellect abets to this entire fiasco knowingly or unknowingly.

We the moot and ignorant citizens of this unfortunate country are all nothing but rapist in our own rights, waking up to that nice hot fuming cup of tea every morning. Yet, we don't loose our precious sleep over the consequences of our profound ignorance and apathy towards the society in general, taking toll in avenues we may never be able to comprehend, in this life or the next.

Amen!

Food for thought

What is food for thought? In my opinion, possibilities and classifications are fourfold!

a. food you take while thinking
b. food you take before thinking
c. food you take after thinking
d. dreaming of food while thinking

Or, is it simply a phrase with no meaning at all?

Please don't even bother trying to explain me about the mental stimulus stuff which you are taught in school. That is an incomplete definition to say the least.

You must be thinking why?

In my quest of unraveling the mysteries of our infinite universe I have learned to take one step at a time. Which you all would surely agree I hope (if not then, do share me your FB page which I can like and worship).

Now, to achieve the above feat, we must first free our brains from the shackles of primary and secondary education, simply because they teach you crap!

Once you are done with the exercise, wear a hat, sit underneath a nice apple tree(you might get lucky like Newton, you never know) and start thinking. You can ponder upon anything you wish to. It can be as complex as String theory or for simpler folks like me, the latest picture of Rihanna at GHQ cover, only in her birth suit.

The activity should start from morning 4 AM with an empty stomach. Should there be any rush for the best spot, I would advice queuing the night before.

Now, imagine you completed all the silly pre-requisites above. It is 1'o clock in the afternoon and you are still rubbing your chin (you can rub anything you want, chin is just an example) sitting under the wretched apple tree.

What would you think now? Having lunch/breakfast/brunch or a god-damn apple from the tree? Wouldn't your nice thoughts get interrupted by the sudden growl of your stomach?

It is only then, my dear friend, you would realize the true meaning of food for thought and the fourfold possibility. I am glad you finally agreed on the proper definition i.e. the food(chicken, meat, dry grass etc) which is required for mental stimulus mumbo-jumbo.

Now that you are with me, the most pertinent question at this juncture is, while you are quenching your hunger pang with some natural delicacies, which of the possibilities would you reckon and why?

Got my drift? Thank you! ( food for thought)

New Year

Happy new year to all.

If morning shows the day, 2013 doesn't feel so promising for me. For start, I am not able to quit on my habit of smoking, still single and the salary feels like a peanut.

Time for some resolution stuff.

a. Do not quite smoking.

I have fallen for this trap of quitting smoke before. Trust me, it doesn't work that way! ITC is not run by bunch of monkeys and why would they? I blame the government. Prime time Metro must quit!

b. Stay single and don't mingle

I have fallen for this one too (wide mouthed smiley, wink!wink!). It is still as slippery as it can get. No matter how young, old or juvenile you are, be careful my friend! Also, visit the friendly neighborhood medical store, they have a business to run too.

c. Fdbk salary

Stop worrying about it. No one likes peanut. I for that matter prefer hazel-nut with cream on top. If only wishes were horses and managers were Raam.

d. Misc

Blog more frequently, take Ele out for a long drive and last but not the least, take the damn sweater off the camera. It has hibernated enough!

Well, we all know, if push comes to shove, promises and resolutions are as strong as a glass. You never know, you may never know!

So, everyone, don't feel gloomy. Have a rocking year ahead and I love you all. If I sound a bit cynical, blame my old age and untimely wisdom, you get dime a dozen and comes with a hash tag. :)

Gender Bias

It is about time the intellectuals of our country takes a reality check and give a thought or two on gender equality/inequality! Their absence of comment on this glaringly visible disparity is quite conspicuous.

It is also the responsibility of media to highlight this thought and build a national consensus through the most viable mediums present. Well, I am not asking media to take all the trouble but at least for once they can shoulder the burden, which they so profusely take proud of.

A few journo have indeed set the ball rolling but would be nice, if for a change it doesn't gather moss, thanks to our goldfish memory syndrome.

It is thus the collective onus of sustaining the welcome change with an adept politician at the helm of affair, for our own good!

This country should not be considered as a fiefdom of heterosexual men avenging their lust while women and homo/trans-sexual weep in the corner.

I live in a fairy wonderland, I am happy and satisfied!

She

a girl, beautiful to say the least.
attracting thousand flies!

the girl, relying on her beauty alone,
embraces a journey of search.

she asks for care, she asks for love,
sharing nothing but a bunch of mirage.

many fall prey, some pretty deep.
they all make up, the herd of sheep.

which, in her darkest desire,
she so covet and feels the need.

she doesn't care for love anymore,
succumbing to the lure,
of mortal offerings by the herd.

she doesn't realize lust for sure,
while relishing the lackluster life.

yet, in her profound wisdom.
concludes to a halt!
benign eyes, trying to find reasons and logic!

trapped in her own fate,
of jealously guarded secrets and rivalry,
sinking courage on to the face,
of sheepish adversary!

she has been a temptress, for too long.
it's her fiefdom, nurtured to the core.

the bricks are loose,
still held quite strong.
a brief wait till denouement,
the curtains must fall!

kohl smeared, drooping eyelids.
the cry for more and
a sweaty palm for company.

the truth hides behind the shadows,
embracing the dire needs and illicit freedom.

Diwali Saga 2

The devil's back in business!
sniffing around, holding hostage.

Innocence lost, yet again!
is it the fragile dignity or mindless shame?

know not, yet carefree soul!
failed again, in terms with the name.

Trust breached,
Promises broken,
Shameless laugh.
Oh no! not again!

there may be thousand next or a million more.
no prize for joining the lonely brigade of
jilted lovers and alienated ghosts.

the careless whisper of bridges burned,
silent shores, muffled voice.
screaming inside the head,
no respite, till the smoke take it's own effect.

the crackers bellowing joy,
neon screaming happiness.
diyas' spreading light to darkness!

yet, thoughts clouded,
eyes, dark and misty!
contemplating the day passed by,
ruminating the joy once shared.

spare me the rod, your highness.
suits the worst of us!

Diwali Saga

Woke up in the afternoon, spilled a mug of coffee on to the car-seat, had a big fight with mom regarding my life, filled up cooking gas to the stove, got myself the long overdue month's grocery from D-Mart, smoked MJ with juniors, cleaned the house, kitchen, made tea with milk, wished some fifty odd people over text and finally cooked mushroom with rice.

Diwali over!

Waiting for the next year.

Oh, by the way, wish you all a very happy and prosperous Diwali, thank you!
