The greatest trick The Universe ever pulled was convincing the world it exists.
Just in case, you didn't notice, here is the kicker.
Light takes a finite/infinite amount of time to reach the big bad sensory receptor called brain. Once inside, it builds up an image for us to comprehend. That image becomes our reality. We react/respond to that image and lovingly call it ‘The Present’.
It
takes light around 8.3 minutes to travel from Sun to Earth and miniscule
fraction of a zillion-millisecond between the computer screen and our eyes.
You are completely unaware of what is going to happen or what you will perceive until those streams of photon/light reaches the darkest caveat of your brain and project a conscious reflection of the past. No matter what you do, your brain is only equipped to handle images from the yore.
Now
imagine those lights/photons being sucked away without your knowledge before
even it reaches you. You may not even realize what you are missing. That is
what my friend, we call the uncertain future.
This
clearly illustrates our capability to gauge the past and hope for the future.
So,
where the hell did ‘The Present’ go?
There
is no present. Well, it never was. That’s the wool over your eyes.
It
is precisely those invaluable moments till a beacon of light reaches your
brain, while you pretend to care.
You
always live in your past. Deal with it!
